The wheel is directly of a customer's car, kerbing and damage to paint. Very dirty
Wheel has been chemically stripped of old paint, kerbing has been removed and wheel has been fully blasted to ensure good paint adhesion

When kerbing is deep, we TIG weld some back
Once welded, wheel is reshaped.
Wheel and weld are blasted to finish and check for porosity.

Wheel is heated up to 200c to release and moisture an gas trapped in the metal, it is then primed hot.
Here you can see the powder starting to melt onto the wheel
Primer is cured in the oven to allow the powder to flow and cure
Once the wheel is primed, it is wet sprayed with the desired colour and powder clear coat lacquered to give a durable (in this case glossy) finish.
Wheels can be finished in gloss, satin or matte
